Job descriptionWe're looking for an A-Level PowersportsMarine TechnicianMechanic. While powersports and or marine expertise is a plus, we value the mechanical know-how and problem-solving skills that technicians from other fields can bring to our service department.Applicants will be primarily working on the following brands:Mercury MercrusierYamahaEvinrudePolarisSki doo Sea dooYamahaCan AmResponsibilities include:Performing diagnostics and repairs of all types of power sport and marine engines and drivesPerform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.Repairing and troubleshooting power sport and marine electrical systemsDe-winterize and winterize boats and personal water craftAbility to tow trailers, launch and load boatsMaintain a clean working environment and keep customer units clean after workSafely operate company and customer units during diagnostic testing operationsThe right candidate:High school diploma or equivalentMust have automotive andor marine engine repair experienceFormal marine mechanic training is preferredPrevious experience in a similar role is preferredWill have certifications, preferred but not required.Will have the ability to meet deadlines and have good time management skillsMechanical skills and the ability to use a wide variety of tools and techniquesPersonal tools are required, company has specialty tools and manufacturer specific toolsMust be high energy and take pride in quality workmanshipGood communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentDriver's license is required
