The ideal candidate will prospect and generate new industrial business as well as perform cold-calls in the field to generate new permanent sales. This candidate should be able to support existing clients and have an ability to conduct product demonstrations. ResponsibilitiesIdentify leads, manage prospects and acquire new businessService existing clientsEffectively demonstrate product lineMeet established goals for territory development and sales quotasTravels to and from customer locationsPromotes products and services to existing customer base while expanding on that base to obtain territorial as well as organizational business goalsIdentifies and initiates contact with and influences potential buyers in a manner that is consistent with our mission statement and core values to meet or exceed territorial and corporate business goalsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field5+ years' outside industrial sales experience with strong track record of successKnowledge of HOLT Industrial Systems products and product support services and programs, Sullair Air Compressor Systems preferredKnowledge of safe work policies, procedures, and practicesKnowledge of sales techniques, financial, credit, and accounting principlesExcellent selling, negotiating, and closing skills with the ability to build long term business relationshipsExperience in developing and executing territory sales strategiesStrong presentation, negotiation, and closing skillsSelf-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
