Due to our wide array of business ventures, there are many different avenues for career progression.As the Financial Analyst, you will be able to be a key piece in all aspects of the business. In this highly critical role, you will be responsible for all areas of financial analyst, including (but not limited to): investment performance review, financial reviews, weekly KPI monitoring, month end close journal entries, and operational performance. As we are rapidly growing, it is critical you have a "team player" mentality, with the ability to take on additional responsibilities that may be outside of your comfort zone. This truly is a role that requires an individual who is eager to learn many different areas and has a desire to grow within the organization. This role requires someone to be self-sufficient and be able to help build the accounting function up.This full-time role is located at our Wake Forest office. Willingness to learn is a critical trait this individual will have. Excellent Benefits and 401K Package, as well as bonusincentive opportunities. Base Salary is between $70,000 to $80,000, depending on experience.Roles and Responsibilities:Our Financial Analyst - Operations will bring a hard-working, problem-solving mentality to ensure world-class investment performance. This individual will use financial analysis and reporting to ensure that the business is moving forward in the right direction.Financial Reporting:· Weekly KPI monitoring and reporting· Daily review of property rent rolls, collections, expenses, bills, etc to ensure the operations are running as smoothly as possible· Own the month end financial report package creation and report to leadershipMonth-End Close:· Partner with accounting team to support in month end close (recons, Jes, reviews, etc)· Drive completion of close deliverables so monthly reviews can be delivered on time· Review monthly KPIs with operations teams and put actions in place to correct any issuesReporting:· Provide company reporting on Payroll, Sales, Past Dues, Expenses, etc· Analyze new investment opportunities and help create investment pitches· Work with lenders to secure financing and favorable lending termsPolicies and Controls:· Ensure all payments are properly approved· Ensure all company controls and policies are adhered to· Assist in year-end tax preparationQualifications:· Accounting or Finance Degree Required· 2+ years Quickbooks experience preferred· 2+ years accounting or finance experience· Strong Excel experience required· Strong desire to uphold personal honesty, integrity, and work ethic· Interested in long-term career growth within one company· Maintains a passionate and enthusiastic attitude· Show Legal documentation showing ability to work in the United StatesBenefits Package Details:Medical Insurance: 80% of your monthly medical premium is covered by the company (HSA options available)Dental & Vision Insurance401(k) plan: company match up to 3% Unlimited PTO and standard holidaysAs an equal opportunity employer, we encourage people of all backgrounds (racial, gender, sexual orientation, disability, veteran, etc) to apply.
