MAU is hiring a Concrete Estimator for Landmark Construction in Charleston, SC. As a Concrete Estimator, you will manage the estimation and bidding process for concrete construction projects by analyzing RFPs, preparing accurate takeoffs and cost estimates, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, submitting and tracking proposals, supporting project teams, and building strong client relationships. This is a direct-hire opportunity.Benefits Package:401k matchingLife insuranceHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceShort term disabilityLong term disabilityPaid time offShift Information:Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PMRequired Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field1-3 years of experience in structural concrete estimating within commercial and industrial marketsGeneral Requirements:Proficient in construction estimating software, including Bluebeam, HCSS HeavyBid, and PlanSwiftStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and SharePointExperience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software or Tekla is a plus but not requiredExcellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilitiesStrong communication and presentation skills, with a commitment to clarity and professionalismHigh attention to detail and dedication to accuracyEnergetic, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a team environmentProven ability to collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with clientsEssential Functions:Review Requests for Proposals (RFPs) received from clientsPrepare detailed and accurate takeoffs for various concrete construction projectsAnalyze project documents to assess risks, material requirements, and labor needsSolicit and evaluate bid information from vendors and subcontractors as requiredDevelop precise cost estimates and technical bid proposalsSubmit, track, and follow up on bid proposals to ensure timely responsesProvide technical support to project teams throughout the project lifecycleBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and collaborationMAU Workforce Solutions is an innovative global company with extensive experience providing solutions for success in staffing, recruiting, technology and outsourcing to our clients, employees, and applicants.
