As a CTMR Field Engineer, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on a range of CTMR products from various manufacturers within hospitals or healthcare systems.Job Responsibilities· Act as the primary onsite support engineer for customers within the assigned region, addressing contract, warranty, and billable service calls on multivendor CTMR equipment.· Provide consultation by phone and email with the Regional Service Manager andor other staff to troubleshoot systems, diagnose problems, and determine best practices for issue resolution.· Ensure timely and precise preventive maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting on medical equipment within healthcare settings, supporting optimal healthcare service delivery.· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring effective communication, swift issue resolution, and proactive follow-up to drive customer satisfaction.· Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills; networking experience required, DICOM proficiency preferred.· Possess a working knowledge of UNIX or Windows operating system software.· Adhere to company policies, procedures, and healthcare protocols to meet regulatory and compliance standards. Ensure all work is documented accurately, including the ordering of parts and documentation of service calls, expenses, and time reports, submitted daily per company procedures.· Maintain accurate parts inventory control, handling ordering and returning of repairable spare parts components.· Display strong problem-solving abilities, capable of resolving complex issues independently with limited supervision and minimal procedural standardization.· Remain goal-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Qualifications· Previous experience with Medical Imaging Equipment: CT & MR Modality required.· Educational background: Associate degree, Bachelor's degree, military education, or High School DiplomaGED with 4+ years of experience servicing medical imaging equipment.· Valid driver's license.· Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; sponsorship is not available for this position.· Ability to be on-call after-hours and work a rotating schedule, including weekends.· Proven experience in engaging with both internal teams and external customers in a solution-based service approach.· Compliance with standard background check, including a post-offer drug test.· During employment, compliance with all customer access policies is required, including providing proof of immunizations and undergoing additional drug tests or background checks (including federal government background checks if assigned to federal contracts).Physical Requirements1. Lifting & Carrying - Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally heavier components (up to 100lbs) with assistance.2. Standing & Walking - Extended periods of standing and walking throughout hospitals, clinics, or service locations.3. Bending, Stooping, & Kneeling - Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling to access equipment for maintenance and repairs.4. Climbing & Reaching - Ability to climb ladders and work at various heights to service overhead gantries or power sources for extended periods.5. Fine Motor Skills & Dexterity - Good hand-eye coordination for working with small components, tools, and wiring.6. Pushing & Pulling - Maneuvering heavy equipment, tools, and parts carts as needed.7. Visual & Auditory Acuity - Clear vision and hearing to troubleshoot issues, read schematics, and communicate effectively.8. Grip Strength - Sufficient grip and hand strength for using tools, assemblingdisassembling parts, and making precise adjustments.9.
