This role involves establishing and maintaining project management standards, optimizing processes, aligning projects with business goals, and providing leadership to project managers and teams. The Senior Project Manager ensures consistent project execution, effective resource allocation, and alignment with organizational priorities, contributing to the company's overall success.Essential Functions:Strategic Planning and Leadership:Develop and implement the vision, strategy, and objectives of the PMO.Align project portfolios with organizational goals and ensure prioritization of key initiatives.Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on project-related matters.PMO Governance and Standards:Establish and enforce project management methodologies, standards, and tools to ensure consistency and efficiency.Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines to support project execution.Implement performance metrics to track project success and measure team performance.Project Portfolio Management:Oversee the organization's project portfolio to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.Monitor project health, risks, and resource utilization, providing corrective actions as needed.Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the portfolio management process.Leadership and Development:Lead, mentor, and develop project managers to achieve high performance.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the PMO.Build cross-functional relationships and promote effective communication among stakeholders.Act as the primary point of contact for project-related updates to senior leadership.Ensure stakeholder satisfaction by delivering high-quality project outcomes on time.Job Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (Master's degree preferred).Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Proven experience in managing large-scale, cross-functional projects and programs.Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and toolsExceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong skills working with multiple personalities while navigating complex situationsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Strategic mindset with a focus on delivering business value.Physical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.The employee must exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, andor up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, andor a negligible amount of force to move objects.Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, accommodation, color vision, and field of vision.Our Benefits:Join our team and enjoy a comprehensive package of competitive benefits and perks designed to support your well-being and professional growth.
