Dev/Research Engineer 2

Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for an DevResearch Engineer 2 in Mossville, IL. The work will be done onsite. This is a long term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. Compensation is $43hr including benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, 401K and holiday pay. Cullerton Group will provide sponsorship.A typical day involves coding engine health algorithms, data mining to validate the engine health algorithms, and data mining and analysis to support product problems. One might move between several tasks in the day, or stay focused on a single task. The time is spent in front of a computer writing code to analyze and visualize data. Results are discussed with other team members, and the tasks are refined based upon each result.Work environment:Office; in-front of a computer. There are daily team meetings (in person or virtual)Position is on-site a minimum of 3 days a week. It may be 5 days a week onsite in the future.Education & Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. 2-4 years engineering experience required (combination of internship experience and hands on work experience).Desired: Formal analytical or statistical training is a plus.
