Manufacturing Engineer (Metal Shop Manufacturing)

Company OverviewOur client designs and manufactures products tailored to the needs of electrical contractors, specializing in cable pulling, conduit bending, material handling, and more. The company is growing rapidly, currently generating approximately $40 million in revenue, with a workforce of around 100 employees.Position OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to develop and optimize manufacturing processes in a fast-growing operation. This role will focus on improving efficiency, ensuring high-quality production, and implementing best practices across welding, fabrication, CNC machining, and fixturing. The ideal candidate will have experience in metalworking operations and be eager to drive continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and create new manufacturing processes to enhance production efficiency and quality.Optimize operations in manual welding, fabrication, CNC machining, and fixturing to support high-quality output.Work with metal forming, press brakes, flat lasers, tube lasers, and CNC equipment to streamline production.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and drive operational efficiency.Support tooling development and improve manufacturing workflows.Ensure process stability and scalability as the company continues its rapid growth.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, increase throughput, and enhance product quality.QualificationsProven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or in a similar process-driven role within a metal fabrication or machining environment.Strong background in welding, fabrication, CNC machining, and fixturing.Experience with metal forming, press brakes, tube lasers, flat lasers, and CNC is highly preferred.Knowledge of paint, powder coating, and assembly is helpful but not essential.Demonstrated ability to improve manufacturing processes and implement efficiency-driven solutions.Hands-on problem-solving approach with a focus on continuous improvement.Benefits401(k) with Profit Sharing ProgramHealth, Dental, Vision, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance3 Weeks PTO and HolidaysTuition ReimbursementWork ScheduleMonday through FridayIf you're ready to take on a key engineering role in a high-growth company and drive real impact on operations, we'd love to hear from you!
