Summary: The Sales Coordinator serves a dual-purpose role. This position supports the sales and estimating process by analyzing plans and specifications to generate accurate material takeoffs. It will also provide essential support and coordination to the sales team, as a critical link between client sales, project estimation, and project management. The Sales Coordinator ensures profitability, customer satisfaction, and the timely management of takeoffs. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience working with construction or manufacturing materials, such as Ductile Iron, PVC, and HDPE piping. Primary Job Responsibilities:The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Work with ConstructConnect to coordinate and create takeoffs for projects.Review project documents, plans, and specifications in ConstructConnect to identify specification requirements.Collaborate with the sales team to prioritize and manage leads, ensuring alignment with company goals.Collaborate with the engineering and sales team to determine the feasibility of the lead.Maintain and update the CRM with customer interactions and project status.Develop and present proposals, bids, and quotes to the sales team, highlighting scope, pricing, and timelines.Act as a liaison between clients, sales, project management, and production teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project requirements.Monitor market trends and competitor activity to refine pricing and service strategies.Certification in project management (PMP, CAPM) or estimation (AACE, CCE) is a plus.Prepare and process sales orders, quotes, and invoices.Assist customers with orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.Monitor project timelines and coordinate schedules to meet client deadlines and company standards.Support the sales team in preparing presentations, reports, and documentation for client meetings.Collaborate with sales representatives to track sales leads and follow up with potential clients.Monitor stock levels and communicate availability to the sales team and customers.Assist in organizing promotional events and campaigns, including logistics and material preparation.Support team efforts to meet sales targets and performance metrics.
