Visit our website at: Job SummaryCandidates will use their background in finance, economics, accounting, or business analysis to launch their real estate investment advisory career. Our financial analysts enhance relationships with our high-net-worth clients as they transition out of self-managed real estate to passive institutional quality investments via tax-deferred exchanges. Candidates will utilize skills in the real estate market and investment analysis while you learn how we engage with clients, respond to their inquiries and provide guidance. Ideal candidates could come from appraisal, real estate brokerage, investment analysis or financial planning backgrounds.We will support your pursuit of securities licenses, required for moving into an advisory role, including FINRA-required background check and fingerprinting; Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) , Series 7, and Series 66.We value in-person interaction in our Kirkland office, believing that the best opportunities to engage and inspire come from in-person collaboration. Job ResponsibilitiesAnalyze clients' investment property holdings:Identify and outline real estate macroeconomic conditions as well as research and understand financial operations of specific properties, and the impact of regional market supplydemand conditions.Understand real estate valuation concepts and establish values of properties utilizing income, comparable sales, replacement and development potential approaches.Determine tax liabilities embedded in properties.Analyze available replacement property options:Summarize key data to monitor financial and operating metrics for competitive analysis of replacement property options, including cost structures.Build matrix to compare investment options, including narrative of respective strengths & weaknesses.Analyze historic performance for client and prospect reporting.Research prospective clients and properties to enable the firm to approach clients strategically:Analyze currently owned properties and on-market properties for prospective clients, determining ownership and owner contact information.Create metrics to evaluate and rank prospective clients for relationship management.Gather information, form hypotheses, and provide input during client discussions.Think about markets in innovative ways, applying research to the benefit of the firm's clients as you expand your advisory capacity and skills.Qualifications and Skills One to three years of work experience in a related field, internship experience is considered.Demonstrated analytical skills (ability to calculate NOI, DSC, LTV, LTC) and underwriting-related experience, preferably with all commercial property types.Strong computer skills including in-depth expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and software in relation to real estate.Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize with competing demands.Demonstrated ability to work independently.Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and assignments; able to prioritize and meet deadlines.Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and people skills.Problem-solving skills to reflect level of responsibilities.Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.Client service oriented and ability to maintain composure.Education: Bachelor's degree or higher.
