Senior Financial Analyst

The Intersect Group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for one of our clients in the metropolitan Atlanta area. This is a direct hire, full time opportunity for a well-established and growth oriented company that is private equity backed. If you are a progressive finance professional that is confident, motivated, and a strong communicator, this may be the role for you!ResponsibilitiesPrepare the company's expense plans and monthly forecastsAccurately update systems to actual results, forecasts, and budgetsAnalyze and provide commentary on variancesCommunicate with vendors and ensure on-time processing of vendor allowancesEnsure compliance with internal and external accounting standards and financial policiesQualificationsMinimum Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting2+ years' of relevant FP&A experienceConsolidations experience requiredProficient in Microsoft Excel, intermediate to advanced (Vlookups, Pivot Tables, etc)Strong quantitative financial skillsExperience with M&A highly preferredFamiliarity with GAAP
