HSE SpecialistGeorgetown, KYPermanentRange: $65kyr-$74kyr.Essential Duties and Responsibilities· Adhere to all safety rules and regulations· Develop, implement, and maintain HealthSafety program in line with regulations and company policies· Develop, implement, and maintain ISO14001 system and act as Management Representative· Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify and address hazards· Create and deliver training on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and compliance.· Collaborate across departments to develop emergency plans and ensure preparedness.· Investigate incidents, analyze root causes, and recommend preventive actions.· Monitor workplace conditions, equipment, and practices for compliance and improvements.· Stay updated on regulations and industry practices, adapting policies accordingly.· Liaise with regulatory agencies and represent the company during inspections· Oversee and coordinate Plant solid waste and recycling program· Adhere to all required local, state, and federal reporting and permitting requirements· Perform other duties as assigned.Required Skills· Expertise in EHS regulations and track record of implementing effective solutions· Ability to use computers and applicable software (Microsoft Word, Excel) at a high level.· Strong communication and training abilities for engaging employees at all levels· Ability to multi-task and successfully operate in a fast paced environment· Good attention to detail.Physical Demands· Frequently in sitting position to perform duties at desk and on computer so must be able to sit for an extended period of time· Must be able to lift 25 pounds (occasionally).· Must be able to stand for extended period of time.· Must be able to reach, squat, walk, climb, crawl and kneel to complete tasks· Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Pride Global and its affiliates - including Russell Tobin, Pride Health, and Pride Now - offer eligible employees comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), a 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, identity theft protection, legal support, auto and home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with some preferred vendors.
