Job SummaryOptomi, in partnership with one of our premier clients, is seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead large-scale AWS migration projects and drive legacy system conversions. This role requires a strong technical background in AWS, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate offshore teams while keeping projects on track. The TPM will be responsible for ensuring project execution, resolving technical challenges, and driving initiatives forward across multiple teams.Must Haves: 5-8+ years Technical Project Management experience with recent IT projects led in an AWS environment - huge plus for expertise in supporting AWS migration projects.Strong understanding of AWS services and toolsets, with the ability to assess, recommend, and implement best practices for cloud migration and optimization in a project management capacityExperience working with offshore teams and ensuring project execution across global teams.Proficiency in JIRA, Smartsheet, or other project tracking tools to manage workflows. Excellent communication skills to facilitate discussions, align stakeholders, and drive accountability.Nice to Haves: Experience with Salesforce projects.Familiarity with Box (cloud content management) as part of AWS migration efforts.Ability to navigate multiple workstreams and maintain project focus in a fast-paced environment.
