The right candidate will serve as Jersen's main point of contact and corporate representative through budgets, proposals, pre-construction, and ensuring successful project completion.Position SummaryWhile providing exceptional customer service, the Project Manager is responsible for oversight of the entire project's life cycle including communication, coordination, and conflict resolution to ensure that construction project goals are met. This individual must be organized and task oriented, able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with multiple deadlines, adapt readily to changing priorities, while energetic and motivated.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis position will be responsible for performing the core essentials as listed below; however, these responsibilities are not necessarily limited to:· Team Leadership- Support the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of each project; supervise all project staff.- Provide leadership in motivating the project team and maintain a positive work environment.- Provide jobsite leadership in Safety and Quality.- Prepare contingency plans for potential risks, expanding contractual services, and project job cost & profit.- Serve as a role model and promotes professional behavior. - Participate in and support company training programs and commit to self-development.- Evaluate staff performance and identify training needs. Conduct or facilitate training as needed.· Client Relations- Proactive creation of opportunities for new work with existing and new clients- Present at project interviews- Ability to review and negotiate Owner Contracts with minimal handholding- Communicate with owners, design team, and subcontractors related to project risk, timetables, costsbudgets, and change management.· Budgeting & Owner Proposals- GMP Budgeting, conceptualschematic estimating, hard-bid estimating- Planning & design, Value Engineering- Perform quantity take-offs and estimating for self-performed and subcontracted work- Gather and analyze quotes from subcontractors and material suppliers· Pre-Construction & Procurement- Write subcontracts & purchase orders- Review contract terms & conditions- Constructability review- Subcontract scope coordinating & planning- Build a complete project schedule- Logistics & Resource planning· Document Control - Read and interpret blueprintsdrawings, specifications, proposals and related documents- Review and approval of design & construction drawings, specifications, bid documents- RFI's, submittals, meetings, daily logs, photos· Execution of the Work- Manage the project using established project controls and procedures- Self-perform cost & coordination- Subcontractor coordination- Schedule & resource management- Analyze alternative solutions and construction methods to increase efficiency- Ability to find positive solutions to large-scale issues· Project Financial Management,- Prime contract management; preparation & presentation of cost proposals, pay applications, change orders, and- Subcontract Commitment & PO management;- Project Budget management; cost control, maintenance of job cost & cash flow, reports, and projections.- Accounts Payable management; invoice review & approval· Safety & Risk Management- Site safety & inspections- JHA, PTP, PPE,- Incident & Accident managementComputer Skills· Proficient in the MS suite (i.e. Outlook, Word, and Excel), MS Project or P6 Scheduling software, Bluebeam (or similar).· Experience with Sage 300 (Timberline) software· Experience with Procore software· Experience with Estimating softwareOther Skills· Exemplify Jersen Construction Group Core Values· Good driving record (as travel may be required)· Have strong written & verbal communication skills, computer skills, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.· Conduct all business in a professional & ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company.· Familiarity with regulatory construction standards· Experience in facilitating teams and delivering information effectively and resourcefully· Experience and knowledge of commercial construction estimating, means and methods, project administration, LEED certifications and an understanding of industry practices· Commitment to work in a collaborative team environment, and ability to work effectively with other team members· Excellent time management with the ability to organize, prioritize, plan, and solve problems creatively· Capable of managingscheduling multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines· Demonstrate an ability to deal with constantly changing priorities and job requirements· Exhibit accountability, sincerity, and a commitment to work· Innate desire and internal fortitude to give your time, talents and resources in order to positively impact others and the company· Ensure the timely completion of said functions and maintain a high standard of accuracy while performing them.· Ability to accurately process and record a large volume of numerical data· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form· Ability to sit for majority of the workday; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral visionEducation· BS or MS degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields· 7+ years of relevant Project Management experience· Any equivalent combination of education and experience as determined by managementBenefitsJersen Construction Group offers employees competitive salaries and comprehensive benefits including:· Vehicle (or allowance)· Medical, Dental, and Vision Health Insurance Plans· 401(K) with company match & profit sharing· Paid Time Off, and Paid Company HolidaysJersen Construction Group, LLC is an equal opportunity employer that recognizes the value of a diverse workforce.
