Black Owl Recruiting is sourcing a passionate professional with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, and a minimum of 5 years experience (Advanced degree desirable), for our reputable client in Butte, Montana.A successful candidate must have developed strong chemical engineering research and development capabilities and have a knack for innovative solutions to technically challenging problems through work experience in a product andor a process development environment.This position is an excellent career and lifestyle opportunity for the correct individual exists to work on state-of-the-art, and break-through research and development of various emerging technologies having both near-term and future commercial potential.Responsibilities:Design and develop chemical processes and equipment for manufacturing operationsConduct research to develop new chemical products and processesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processesImplement and maintain process control systems, including logic controllersEnsure compliance with FDA regulations and other relevant industry standardsTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to chemical processesPerform risk assessments and implement safety measures in the workplaceMonitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvementProvide technical support and guidance to production teamsRecommended Experience:Proven experience in chemical process design and developmentStrong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principlesFamiliarity with FDA regulations and quality control standardsExperience with quantum engineering concepts is a plusProficient in using computer software for process simulation and data analysisExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesRequirements of the position are:BS in Chemical Engineering (MS or PhD of added value)Minimum 5 years' experience.Strong verbal and written communication skillsEnthusiasm for working in a diverse, demanding, and exciting technology environmentStrong work ethic and team player attributesU.S. CitizenshipInternational travel will be requiredExceptional Benefits Package includes:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offPersonal leaveFlexible benefit planPensionprofit sharing plan 401(k)Relocation reimbursementNote: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
