Semiconductor Solutions Architect (Contract, Bay Area or Remote)We are seeking a Semiconductor Solutions Architect to play a key role in integrating factory systems for a cutting-edge R&D production environment. This role focuses on how all factory systems come together to build a next-generation semiconductor facility. Unlike high-volume manufacturing, this environment emphasizes the development of new wafer processing technologies.If you have a deep understanding of how semiconductor manufacturing systems are architected and experience in factory-wide integration projects, we'd love to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Architect and integrate semiconductor manufacturing systems, ensuring seamless interaction between MES, factory control, and process automation systems.Work closely with R&D production teams to design and implement solutions that support the development of new wafer technologies.Provide consultative expertise to the customer, bridging the gap between COTS semiconductor products and real-world factory operations.Collaborate with application solutions and advanced process teams to optimize how tools and systems are wired together in the fab.Serve as a strategic advisor for factory-wide integration projects, ensuring scalable and efficient deployment of new solutions.Qualifications:Extensive experience in semiconductor manufacturing environments.Deep understanding of how semiconductor factories are wired together, including MES, automation, process control, yield, and reporting systems, .Proven track record in solutions architecture, manufacturing systems integration, or applications consulting within semiconductor fabs.Strong background in factory automation, semiconductor equipment, and fab infrastructure.Ability to work cross-functionally with R&D, engineering, and operations teams to drive successful factory implementations.Additional Details:Location: Remote with Bay Area travel, especially at the beginning of the projectImmediate Need: The team is looking to bring someone on as soon as possible.Contract Role
