Applications Engineer - Mechanical

In this position you will be approving equipment installation, acting as liaison between commercial and technical teams, researching new market opportunities, and other tasks as identified. The job may require occasional travel both domestically and internationally. Must have previous Applications Engineering experience in a mechanical engineering driven product. ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and approve customer system and installation designs.Technical support of sales proposalsCreate, review and edit product manuals, specification sheets and internal technical ternally communicate product improvement feedback and product market trends.Continuously monitor and share information on competitors to ensure Sapphire's offering maintains its competitive position.Provide technical support to the sales team during customer webinars, conference calls and in person visits."EducationExperienceEngineering degree with a minimum of five (5) years of application engineering andor customer service experienceHelpful to have.Experience with application engineering or customer service in a rotating equipment or clean energy companyExperience or capability to develop an understanding of aero designExperience with application engineering or customer serviceExperience with Solidworks or other designdrafting systems
