Control Engineer

Role: AutomationControl EngineerLocation: Lewisburg TN (Onsite)Duration: Full Time Perm AutomationControls Engineer is a highly technical position that is responsible to develop, coordinate, qualify, and supervise design, construction, functionality, and buy-off of Automated assembly equipment. In addition, will be required to diagnose, analyze, and recommend solutions for toolingprocessing concerns. Responsible for understanding product requirements, preparing RFQ's based on conceptual designs and sequence of operations, and communicating technical information to suppliers.To qualify for this role, you must meet the following:Associates Engineering Degree preferred as a minimum or equivalent educational backgroundexperienceMinimum 3 years relevant work experience including manufacturing processing tool workA strong background in pneumatics, hydraulics, fixture, and trimming of multiple materials with an emphasis on design is requiredWorking knowledge and understanding of photoelectric sensors, vision sensors, variable frequency drives, programmable logic controllers, sensors and switches, human-machine interface panels, robotics, servo motors and machine safety systems3D CAD experience is a plusRobotics experience preferred, Kuka, Fanuc, ABB, Yaskawa, NachiGood experience with PLC'sHMI's, servo drives, VFDsWorking knowledge of GD&TAble to travel about 50% to local and overseas tooling sources without any restrictions
