Job Title: Business Development Manager - Private Labels Sauce Co.Location: Hayward, CA Job Type: Full-TimeReports to: Sales Manager PresidentCompany Overview:WN Foods is a family owned and managed, premium manufacturer of high-quality sauces, condiments, and culinary products. As we continue to grow, we are looking to expand our sales team with a driven, dynamic Business Development & Sales Representative.Job Summary:The Business Development & Sales Manager will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and establishing long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients. This individual will focus on expanding our market reach, developing sales strategies, and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of WN Foods' products. This position requires a highly motivated self-starter with a strong sales background and a passion for the food industry. Intimate knowledge on Private Label business is preferred.Key Responsibilities:Sales Growth: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, driving business expansion and increasing revenue across various markets including private label, institutional and foodservice channels.Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners. Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction, while addressing any concerns and issues.Sales Strategy: Based on market research to identify trends market accounts, and develope sales strategies and forecasts to capture new business.Product Knowledge: Become an expert on WN Foods' products, understanding their unique selling points, applications, and value propositions to effectively communicate these to clients.Negotiation & Closing Sales: Lead sales meetings and negotiations, presenting proposals, handling objections, and closing deals to meet or exceed sales targets.Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to align strategies and ensure products meet market demands.Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular reports to management on sales performance, pipeline status, and market feedback.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science or related field (or equivalent work experience).Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in the food industry or consumer goods sector.Strong knowledge of the foodservice, retail, andor e-commerce markets is a plus.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to identify opportunities and develop customized sales strategies.Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to travel as required to meet with clients, attend industry events and trade shows.Preferred Skills:Experience in selling food products or working with distributors.A network of established relationships within the food industry.Knowledge of culinary trends and consumer preferences related to sauces and pensation & Benefits:Competitive salary structure based on sales performance.Health and dental insurance.Paid time off (PTO) and holidays.401(k) with company matchIf you are passionate about sales, food, and building meaningful client relationships, we encourage you to apply for the Business Development & Sales Representative position at WN Foods.
