Company DescriptionSG Aerospace and Gas is looking for an experienced CNC Swiss machinist. SG Aerospace and Gas is an AS9100 certified machining facility which manufactures components for military, commercial and space related products along with Industrial and Firearm applications.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Machinist at SG Aerospace & Gas located in Grand Junction, CO. The Machinist will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machining tools and equipment, interpreting blueprints, setting up machines, and producing precision parts. The role also involves inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and collaborating with team members to optimize production processes.QualificationsProficiency in operating and maintaining machining tools and equipmentAbility to interpret blueprints and technical drawingsExperience in setting up machines for productionKnowledge of precision machining techniquesStrong attention to detail and quality controlAbility to work effectively in a team environmentPhysical stamina and manual dexterity1-5 years experience in MachiningGeometric tolerancing understandingUnderstanding of Tsugami Swill machining a plus.This position requires use of information which is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
