Electrical Engineer

Seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to design, fabricate, test, and support the operation of UASs, Drones and other aerospace based products. This position directly interfaces with Customer, Manufacturing, Engineering, Flight Test and UAS Flight Operations Staff.DESIRED SKILLSEXPERIENCETraining & knowledge of UAV, UAS andor FAA aviation avionics electronics and standard fabrication practice with knowledge of avionics electronic products, components and suppliersExperience with computer LAN and RF communication systems, antennas and data linksTesting, troubleshooting and debugging of electronic circuits and assembliesUse of dc power supplies, DMM, Oscilloscope and RF spectrum analyzerProficient in SolidWorks, KiCAD, and other electrical designanalysis toolkitsPrior experience with high voltage power systems on eVTOL platforms. Man-rated or unmanned acceptable.Previously work in design, prototype, and test environments where required tocomplete tasks in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.Ability to travel on a limited basis to remote testing rangesGeneral interest in aircraft and electronic design as a hobby outside of workREQUIRED SKILLSEXPERIENCERead and understand technical drawings, datasheets, and work instructionsUse electronic, hand, power, and pneumatic toolsSoldering of circuit and harness assembliesFabrication of electrical harnesses, RF cables, and circuit board assembliesInstallation avionics modules, harnesses and RF cables into UAV airframesModify electrical harnesses units and assembliesRepair and calibration of avionics modules according to specificationsSetup equipment at outdoor testing location for operation and test data collectionWrite procedures, update BOMs and other related documentationKeep organized and maintain all work related tools, test equipment, fixtures, etc.US Citizenship is Required and Candidate should be eligible to obtain a DoD Security Clearance
