Mechanical Commissioning Supervisor - Offshore Substation (OSS)Project OverviewWe are seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Supervisor to oversee commissioning activities for the Offshore Substation (OSS) and connected assets. This role will report directly to the Commissioning Site Manager, OSS.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise, coordinate, and report on commissioning activities at the work location.Ensure compliance with HSE programs, project requirements, and contract agreements for all commissioning teams.Focus on low-voltage (LV) mechanical systems, including Permit to Work (PTW), LockoutTagout (LOTO), and SIMOPS.Lead commissioning oversight for equipment such as HVAC systems, chillers, dry coolers, oil separators, water pumps, and cranes.Conduct daily coordination meetings with contractors related to commissioning activities.Monitor project schedule progress and provide input to management and scheduling teams.Support the review and submission of key deliverable documentation (e.g., reports, plans, As-Built documentation).Oversee and execute Owner LOTO isolations and maintain documentation.Manage and authorize the energization of high- and low-voltage equipment.Coordinate and approve work activities within the energized OSS perimeter.Develop, review, and authorize plans, procedures, and certification documentation.Serve as Owner Representative for witnessing, inspections, audits, walkdowns, and work acceptance.Review and authorize work permits for LV mechanical commissioning activities, including P&ID line walks, valve line-ups, isolations, and system validations.Qualifications & Experience5+ years of hands-on mechanical commissioning experience, preferably with exposure to electrical scopes of work in wind turbine generator (WTG) projects.Proven experience managing major capital projects ($100M+), specifically in the offshore wind industry.Strong background in commissioning LV mechanical systems and working within energized environments.EducationMinimum: High School Diploma or GED.This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a high-impact offshore wind project, playing a critical role in ensuring successful commissioning and system integration.
