Requirements: Must have at least 3 years of experience in injection mold design and CAD. Ensure workable mold designEnsure design meets the quoted scope of project and customer's expectationsWork with purchasing to ensure all components are ordered to complete projectIdentify correct components for projectsDevelop primary design concepts for tooling working off the job shop sheets in conjunction with Tool Shop Manager and Project Manager as neededRedesign components to achieve engineering changesDesigns secondary operations fixtures and develops process to complete scope of project with repeatability with aid of 3D printingResponsible for design, update, and repair of 3D files for design and manufactureAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of management, peers, and outside customersAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to readily adapt to changes in customer demands and come up with solutionsSelf - starterProficient in 3D file manipulation including the ability to create a 3D file from a digitized file and create Point Cloud OverlayMulti-talented in different CAD software's Professional and respectfulExperienced in working with customers on detailed CAD files and ability to explain the trouble areas on the files and offer up solutionsAbility to design fixtures if needed to do a secondary operation to molded part
