We strive to amplify consumers' voices within our organization, ensuring we bring relevant offerings and innovations to the market.The QC Laboratory Technician will be responsible for conducting routine and non-routine analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves performing microbiological and chemical tests, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold product integrity and safety. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Sample Analysis:Coordinate microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure product safety and quality.Perform chemical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure product safety and quality.Conduct routine analytical and physical tests, recording observations and measurements accurately.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain detailed and accurate laboratory records, including experimental data and results.Report findings to the QC Lab Manager and assist in interpreting test results.Equipment Maintenance:Clean, disinfect, and maintain laboratory glassware and equipment to ensure a safe and orderly work environment.Assist in the ordering and inventory of laboratory materials and pliance and Safety:Follow laboratory safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.Ensure compliance with cosmetic safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Collaboration:Work closely with other departments to support manufacturing operations and address quality-related issues.Assist in pilot or manufacturing operations when needed.EducationExperience:Associate's or Bachelor's degree, preferably in Chemistry, Microbiology or a related field. Three plus years of laboratory experience, including internships or academic lab work; or equivalent combination of education and experience is a plus.Skills:Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsLanguage Ability:Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.Math Ability:Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
