Injection Molding MaintenanceBuilding Facilities Technician Maintenance Location: Hartland, WI1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PMPay Rate: $30-35hr (based on experience)Objective: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repair, rebuild, and installation of mechanical and auxiliary equipment while supporting production to ensure efficient operations and continuous jection Molding Duties and Responsibilities:This list is not comprehensive but represents the most common or important duties of the position. Other duties may be required andor assigned.Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs for all molding and auxiliary equipment (i.e., molding machines, robots, grinders, thermolators, chillers, conveyor systems, loading equipment, drying equipment, etc.).Document all completed PMs and repairs within the ERP Software system.Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical plete all maintenance department paperwork (e.g., work orders, charts) and corresponding computer entries related to preventative maintenance scheduling, inventories, etc.Provide emergencyunscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.Perform various repairs, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and basic electrical troubleshooting and repair of production machines.Rebuild machines and overhaul troublesome components and attachments by dismantling, inspecting, machining, or replacing purchased plete minor electrical work such as motor replacement, fuse replacement, and switches.Order replacement parts, diagnose control system problems, and develop an organized approach to solving machine issues and necessary repairs.Manage spare parts inventory and procure necessary components for maintenance and repairs.Handle quoting and vendor relationships for parts, supplies, and machine manufacturers related to maintaining equipment and building facilities.Oversee outside vendors performing installations and projects at the facility.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.Facilities Manager Duties and Responsibilities:A Facilities Manager is responsible for maintaining the company's grounds, buildings, and equipment to ensure a safe and functional working environment.Manage and inspect facilities, equipment, and supplies to meet health and safety struct team members on best practices to maintain the property.Operate and maintain high-power andor high-voltage equipment such as forklifts, batterymanual pallet jacks, scissor lifts, power tools, pressure washers, snow blowers, spect and replace filters on HVAC units and injection molding plete internal maintenance orders.Change light bulbs and fixtures.Monitor and order cleaning supplies.Prepare facilities for changing weather conditions.Perform seasonal outdoor groundskeeping duties as needed, including shoveling snow and de-icing sidewalks.Schedule routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors.Collaborate with the building owner on budgeting for facility needs.Create and maintain budgets for maintenance, repairs, and contracts.Negotiate contracts with service providers.Plan, coordinate, and oversee all renovations, installations, and refurbishments.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Minimum of 2+ years of experience in plastic injection molding.Previous experience as a maintenance technician in a plastics injection molding manufacturing environment preferred.Experience troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and basic electrical circuit systems.Knowledge of various hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.Position TypeHours of Work:This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout a typical day.The employee must frequently lift andor move items over 35 pounds.This is a full-time position.
