ULTIMATE STAFFING IS SEEKING A SALES ENGINEER FOR OUR CLIENT IN HAYWARD, CA. THIS IS A 100% ONSITE ROLE, DIRECT HIRE WITH A STARTING PAY OF APPROXIMATELY $100K AND WORKS ON A DRAW PLAN. CANDIDATES WITHOUT ANY OF THE RELATED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.Job SummaryThe Solutions sales engineer's basic function is to plan and execute the necessary market activities to promote and grow service sales within their sales territory. Achieve overall company service sales, margin, and expense goals within assigned territory on an annual basis.Essential FunctionsNOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties as needed to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.Customer Service and Sales ResponsibilitiesSpend at least 60% of time outside the office, including home office focused on sales activities, acquiring new customers, and expanding service opportunities.Manage all Commercial Engineered Equipment Service sales activities to achieve and exceed targets.Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, end users and facilities to help both equipment functionality and service needs and identifying new profit opportunities.Research, identify, and engage with current and potential customers to promote product and service solutions.Deliver effective sales presentations highlighting the value of equipment ongoing maintenance, warranties, and Annual Maintenance Contracts. (AMC)Retain and grow relationships with established customers to support long-term partnerships and drive business growth.Provide comprehensive sales, marketing, and technical support with assigned territory with a focus on service offerings.Monitor competitor activities, anticipate their strategies, and implement supervisor service solutions to maintain a competitive advantage.Utilize tools like CHC-CRM, Salesforce, and FinancialForce to track service opportunities, follow up on projects, and help effective customer management.Collaborate with Service Solutions Manager to align strategies and meet service sales goals.Prepare detailed proposals and quotations for commercial service projects, including service agreements and post-installation support.Analyze construction bid documents to identify and capitalize service-related opportunities.AdministrativeSubmit all required information for client billing to accounting in a timely promptly.Manage sales calls, expense reports, and create timely reports.Present monthly sales expenses summaries.TrainingParticipate in scheduled sales meetings to facilitate effective communication across teams and help alignment with goals and objectives are achieved.Attend manufacturer's webinars and in-person training as required.Proactively or upon your manager's recommendation attend seminars or courses to continue your education, such as sales, software, current product line, and petenciesStrong Communication SkillsAttention to detailData AnalysisTime ManagementThoroughness Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
