Test Engineer

Techwish is seeking a Test Engineer for a long term contract engagement with one of it's esteemed clients in Manassas, VA. This is an onsite hybrid position that requires consultant to work 2-3 days from this role you will:- Develop and complete automated tests to ensure the highest level of software quality.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.- Ensure seamless integration with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Ansible, and Jenkins.- Analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues to determine root causes.- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.- Manage test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various projects.- Report directly to the QA Manager, providing regular updates on progress and challenges.What will make you successful?WE ARE SEEKING PROFESSIONALS WITH:- A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing or a related role.- Proven expertise in Python scripting and automation tools.- Strong knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Ansible, and Jenkins.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Advanced certifications in software testing or related fields.- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Skills:Ansible Senior (6-9)Python Senior (6-9)RHEL Linux Senior (6-9)Test Automation Senior (6-9)Experience levels and years of experienceRegards,Kolthur Vaishnavi
