Our team is dedicated to delivering innovative and reliable power systems that support our clients' operations across diverse industries.Responsibilities and Duties:· Manage individual engineering duties including detailed engineering working closely with project management.· Work within the existing operations and field service team to provide field commissioning services and support.· Interaction with customers to provide overall needs and solutions.· Experience in the design, manufacturing and installation of medium low voltage switchgear solutions, knowledge of UL ANSI standards a plus.· Experience in design, construction, manufacturing, commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical switchgear including a solid understanding of the following principles and equipment: Commissioning, electrical distribution systems, transformers, MVLV Switchgear, MVLV Motor Control.· Assist sales team with the electrical design of projects during quotation phase of project.· Respond to client questions during the design and cost phase of projects.· Experience performing relay coordination and programming relay settings for GE Multilin and SEL relays a plus.· Investigates and analyzes complex technical issues. Apply engineering principles to determine optimal and practical solutions.· Prepares studies and makes sound recommendations a plus but not required.· Interprets applicable codes and regulations, assures compliance with the National Electric Code, ANSI NFPA, IEEE, OSHA, and any other local codes or regulations. Understands the principles of LVMV Switchgear construction.· Support field installations including developing plans for equipment commissioning, inspection, preventative maintenance.· Assist in preparing scope of project work, cost estimates, engineering economics, and interfaces with clients.· Experience using Auto CAD.Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in the design, manufacturing, and installation of medium and low voltage switchgear equipment. Familiarity with the principles of LVMV switchgear construction and electrical distribution systems is essential.Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equal experience).Desire to work within a team environment.Strong technical, mechanical and computer skills.Ability to travel 15%-20% of the time.Arc FlashSystem study experience a plus.
