Employment Type: Full-timeAvailable Positions: 1Location: On-SiteApplication Deadline: January 8th, 2024Summary The Lab Technician will be responsible for manufacturing, inspecting, and maintaining high-quality optical products.Key Activities Lens Manufacturing: Operate and maintain lab equipment to grind, cut, and polish optical lenses to precise specifications.Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet required specifications and industry standards.Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and calibration on lab equipment to ensure optimal performance.Material Handling: Manage inventory of raw materials, tools, and finished products, ensuring proper labeling and pliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve equipment or production issues promptly to minimize downtime.Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.Preferred Skills Certification in optical technology or a related field.Experience with lens finishing, surfacing, or coating processes.Educations & Experience High school diploma or equivalent.Experience in a lab or manufacturing environment (preferably in optical or similar fields).Are you looking for your next opportunity?
