Finance Analyst

MHIRJ is the merging of two important heritages: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) and the CRJ Series program. We provide comprehensive critical operational, engineering and customer support solutions including maintenance, refurbishment, technical publications, marketing and sales activities for the global regional aircraft industry. We're looking for a Finance Analyst to join our ranks!Here are the daily responsibilities for a Finance Analyst at MHIRJ:Assist the team with data capturing and reporting on business performance, key metrics and financial reportsReview and analyze monthly results compared to plans and prior monthsActively participate in the budgeting and forecasting processAssist with the completion of internal and external audits of the CompanyIdentify any financial or process improvements captured through business analysis with any financial reporting, analysis and with preparation of monthly financialsWork closely with sales, planning and operations in preparing business informationAnalyze trends, costs, revenues, and expenses to predict future revenues and expenses to support monthly forecastsComplete monthly financial andor financial reporting narratives, schedules, and budgets including ad hoc reportsMake recommendations for financial andor financial reporting system structure changes as necessaryPerform variety of tasks and ad hoc analysis in addition to support any business requirements.Here is what is required to succeed: A minimum of 2 years accounting or financial analyst experienceBachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field, or extensive operational experience in the aviation industry with proven analytical skillsWorking knowledge of general accounting procedures and concepts, general ledger, balance sheets, and profit and loss statementsWorking knowledge of ERP systems, data warehousing, or other related programs as requiredStrong knowledge and experience with Microsoft office products, especially ExcelAnalytical and judgment skills necessary to evaluate, interpret, and reconcile accounting data according to company and departmental proceduresPlanning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignmentsStrong verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with all organizational levelsAbility to work both in a team setting and independently on multiple projects Daily, Weekly and MonthlyThis role in onsite in Bridgeport, WV.If your experience aligns with the qualifications for this role, we encourage you to apply - we'd like to hear from you!Why join us?
