Our long time client, is looking for a Senior Cloud DevSecOps Engineer with an expertise in AWS. Location: Remote (travel to Headquarters in Arlington VA twice a year)The Cloud DevSecOps Engineer III is responsible for bringing the concepts of development, security, and operations together to create a more robust security system for the organization. Test and monitor system for vulnerabilities and work in collaboration with developers to create new programs that patch holes in the current security program. Add countermeasures to prevent against new threats, while making the program stronger and more effective. Responsible for keeping the organization's data, network, and IT infrastructure safe and free from security threats through monitoring, programming, testing, and communication.What You Will Do:Build & Deploy - Infrastructure as Code development - AWS CloudFormation template creation & maintenanceAWS CodeStar project stacks creation & maintenanceAWS CodePipeline CICD automation maintenance & supportAWS Cost Optimizations & AWS Well Architected Best Practice recommendationsHA & DR implementations including improvements to RTORPOHelp maintain AWS OperationsMaintain Infrastructure and Operational Excellence for the companyDocument and develop processes to support systems across the organizationMonitor the implementation of various critical infrastructure and middleware componentsBuild & Maintain and release highly available, reliable, stable products across several platformsCreate alarms and maintain transparent monitoring of all relevant systems for tracking operational excellence, cost and performanceWhat We're Looking For:AWS Certified SysOps Administrator andor Solutions Architect Associate andor Developer Associate5+ years of implementing & maintaining enterprise AWS Cloud environments.Experience creating, delivering, and operating multi-tenanted, distributed systems at scaleCloud architecture experience in AWS environment and container-based deployments using AWS CodePipeLine and CloudFormation.Passionate for continuous learning and understanding things in and around cloud developmentExperience with various AWS services like ECS, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, Redshift, Glue, Athena, CloudFront, Route 53, EventBridge, etcExperience with any tools like AppDynamics SumoLogic, DataDog, CloudWatch, or similar tools for observabilitySolid understanding of the application and infrastructure securityCompensation: Competitive base salary ($160K - $180K - DOE) + 10% performance bonusOutstanding Health Coverage - tons of options across Health, Dental, Vision options + Flexible PTO401K through Fidelity with 25% matchTons of other company wide perks...
