Job Description: This role is exempt from minimum wage andor overtime.A Senior Project Engineer will have extensive experience with civil engineering and will be able to effectively communicate that experience to a team of younger P.E.s, E.I.T.s, designers, and CAD Technicians for preparation of construction plans, specifications, exhibits, reports, quantities, cost estimates, etc. for various land development cludes understanding the scope of work, estimated hours, and will be expected to take ownership of engineering design from start to finish.Helps prepare and review engineering plansdocuments to be in compliance with regulatory agencies and communicate with the team regarding project timelines and issues, and accurate maintenance of files and contracts is required.Exercise good decision making, exhibits sound judgment and knowledge, shows responsibility of work produce and overall projects successJob Responsibilities (including but not limited to)Performs assignments in the design of commercial, single family, multi-family and mixed-use developments - including roadway, domestic water, sanitary sewer and storm sewer drainage system design.Creates, executes, and revises project plans as appropriate to meet client needsPrepares engineering designs and reviews deliverables prepared by the design team for engineering accuracyPrepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance proceduresEnsures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriatelyDelivers engaging, informative, well-organized construction drawings and engineering reportsUnderstands how to communicate difficultsensitive information tactfullyQualificationsMinimum of Seven (7) years of licensure as a Professional Civil Engineer working in the land development industryStrong preference will be given to candidates with 10+ years of experienceWorking knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil-3D, HEC-HMS or PondPack, HEC-RAS, etc.Ability to lead creation of designs and drawings supporting our client's overall project goalsComputer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc), AutoCAD (Including Civil3D), HEC Software (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, etc.), Bentley (PondPack, StormCAD, etc.)
