Key Responsibilities:Supervise and support the consumer lending team to ensure efficiency and accuracy in loan processing.Oversee loan application reviews, approvals, and denials in accordance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations for lending staff.Monitor and analyze loan performance metrics and recommend improvements.Ensure compliance with federal and state lending laws, including fair lending practices.Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.Collaborate with other departments, including risk management and underwriting, to streamline processes.Address customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary.Stay updated on industry trends, lending regulations, and banking best practices.Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum of 5 years of experience in consumer lending, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.Strong knowledge of lending regulations, credit analysis, and underwriting standards.Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
