Job Title: Engineering & Quality Support TechnicianJob Location: Coventry, RI 02816 (Onsite - Shift: M-Th, 6:30am - 5pm.)Onsite Requirements: Knowledge of compositeslab work.AS9100 quality standards, testingMeasurement ExperienceJob Description:Key Responsibilities:Manufacturing Engineering Support:Assist in the manufacturing and assembly of products and parts.Act as a first responder to machine issues, ensuring minimal downtime.Test products to verify specifications and document process conditions.Collect and analyze data for engineering projects.Develop and maintain toolingfixture definitions for manufacturing operations.Conduct quality audits and inspections, execute trial plans, and document new test plans. Quality Engineering Support:Assist in the generation of testing and qualification test instructions.Support scheduling for internal and external quality audits to maintain AS9100 standards.Track and follow up on Root Cause & Corrective Actions (RCCAs).Maintain test and quality records, samples, and document control procedures.Conduct in-process and incoming inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards. Must-Have Skills:Knowledge of composites, textiles, medical products, and processingfabrication equipment.Experience with laboratory practices and materials testing equipment.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel).Ability to follow instructions, identify issues, and seek clarification when needed. Preferred Qualifications:Associate degree in engineering or a related field.Prior experience in a manufacturing or engineering support role.Hands-on experience with testing and measurement equipment.Understanding of industry test methods and lab workflows.Experience with AS9100 quality standards. Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (team lift up to 50 lbs.).Capable of kneeling, squatting, sitting, crawling, and climbing stairsladders.Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.Good vision for focusing on small details and defect identification.Effective communication with team members and supervisors.** 3rd party and subcontract staffing agencies are not eligible for partnership on this position. 3rd party subcontractors need not apply.
