Electrical Engineer (Entry-level Product Support)

Akkodis is seeking an Entry-level Electrical Engineer (Product Support) for a job with a client in Everett, WA. For this position you will need a BSEE (or similar, relevant degree) and a strong troubleshootingproblem solving mindset.Rate: $30.00 - $33.00hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographics location and other factors.Location: Everett, WADuration: 6+ months, possibility of conversion to SalariedDirect Hire position.This position requires troubleshooting experience in hardware or software. In this position you will troubleshoot and solve issues involving hardware and software. This position is a 3-6+ month contract position, but it has a good chance of converting to a direct position. This position will be on a day shift.Job responsibilities include:Troubleshoot and solve issues that are brought to team from customers andor colleagues.Execute validation procedures used to test hardwarefirmware product release candidates.Record data gathered during troubleshooting and testing.Possible interaction with other technicians, customer service reps and customers.Qualifications:Strong troubleshooting mindset and ability to get to root cause of issue.Technical competenceExperience in hardware and (preferably) software.Ability to clearly communicate both verbally.Understanding of microcontrollers and microprocessors.Preferred experience engineering physical products, especially medical devices.Experience with tools such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), power supplies, waveform generators and logic analyzers.Preferred experience with either medical equipment or mains power.Attention to detail.Ability to follow procedures and directions.Experience with MS Excel and Word preferred.A.S. or B.S. degree preferred.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
