The SiteOEM Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing the quality management systems and processes at the site level, ensuring that production and operational activities meet OEM standards and customer expectations. This role involves managing quality activities related to production items, raw materials, and testing procedures throughout various stages of vehicle manufacturing, from initial development to final production.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Management Systems (QMS) Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES): Oversee the quality management and execution systems for production items, including injection molding and painting, at all stages: initial, middle, and final. Manage regular and Initial Sample Inspection Report (ISIR) reliability test reports to ensure product consistency and compliance.Raw Material Management: Monitor and manage the properties of raw materials, including material index (MI), moisture content, and lot management, to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.Molding and Painting (MIP): Set quality limits for injection molding and painting reference samples. Oversee the production and evaluation of initial, middle, and final Production Line Testing (PLT) samples. Manage paint quality, addressing color differences, coating thickness, and other paint-related quality metrics. Supervise torque checks and calibration of electric tools across assembly lines. Conduct weld strength testing to ensure structural integrity. Create, test, and manage Vision NG Masters for quality control. Inspect cross-contamination prevention systems across assembly lines. Establish and manage key control points for injection molding, painting, and assembly processes.Packaging and Incoming Inspection (KD): Verify and discuss packaging specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards. Develop and implement incoming inspection procedures to assess the quality of materials and spection and Testing: Conduct ISIR and regular inspections during mass production to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications. Support testing processes, including setting up and handover of Testing Lap tasks. Manage testing activities for U.S. subsidiary requirements.Customer Response: Handle weekly color difference measurements and address in-line emergency responses in accordance with HMGMA policy, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of customer issues.Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes and product reliability. Utilize data-driven approaches to identify quality issues, implement corrective actions, and improve manufacturing practices.Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure quality standards are integrated into all aspects of the manufacturing process. Facilitate communication and problem-solving among cross-functional teams to address quality concerns.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ) preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in quality management within the automotive industry, with a focus on site-level quality control and OEM requirements. Extensive knowledge of quality management systems, manufacturing processes, and testing methodologies. Proven ability to manage and improve quality control processes for injection molding, painting, and assembly. Strong problem-solving skills with experience in handling complex quality issues. Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in quality management tools and software.Ability to travel to various sites, including supplier locations and production facilities, as needed.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
