Financial Analyst

MUST BE US CITIZEN OR PERMANENT GREEN CARD HOLDER, LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLYPosition Summary: Plant Financial Analyst is responsible for the daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting to the Plant Controller. This individual will work to maintain integrity in inventory control and cost accounting. This position will work closely with manufacturing managers across various North American manufacturing plants to understand issues and how they impact financial results as well as educateinform departments on cost drivers and variances.Responsibilities Labor Reporting across PlantsIMA Variance reporting supportReport Sales and Backlog weekly to executive staff for all North American Tank plantsReporting accuracy of manufacturing variance accounts as part of the month-end close processBill of material and work order review and variance trackingInvolvement in Lean Events at plantsResponsible for assisting inventory management, including preparation of excess and obsolete reports, reserves, and disposition plansPrepare and complete month-end journal entries and financial reports associated with the manufacturing accounts.Post inventory transactions for all North American Tank plantsPrepare account reconciliationsOther various duties as assigned by Plant ControllerSkills, Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in AccountingFinance or 2 years with relevant manufacturing accounting experience.Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of ERP Systems and Accounting softwareExperience using Microsoft OfficeHigh Level of Proficiency with ExcelExperience with SQL and report writingSome travel expected
