Job DescriptionOur client is a leading insurance agency specializing in providing tailored insurance solutions to meet the unique needs of their niche-based clients. Their Employee Benefits Division is dedicated to offering innovative and comprehensive benefits packages that enhance employee satisfaction and drive organizational success. They are looking for a dynamic and strategic leader to join their team as the Vice President of the Employee Benefits Division.The Vice President of the Employee Benefits Division will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of their employee benefits strategy. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the insurance landscape and a proven track record in driving growth and enhancing client relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, the ability to present to clients including C-Suite, a passion for employee well-being, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.HOURS: Full-Time Hours, Mon-Fri, 8:00AM-5:00PMDURATION: Direct HireWORKSITE: Prefer in-office in Irvine CA but will have some flexibility as you need to be able to travel to client offices.PAY: $125,000 - $150,000 base depending on experience and commissions and department bonus.BENEFITS: This client offers a full comprehensive benefits package to include medical, dental, life insurance, 401K, and PTOKey ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the Employee Benefits Division aligned with the overall goals of the agency.Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of benefits professionals to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and satisfaction.Sales Growth: Actively pursue new client acquisition while rounding out the existing client base to maximize revenue opportunities and client retention.Product Development: Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement innovative employee benefits products and solutions that meet market needs.Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.Financial Oversight: Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and ensure profitability within the pliance and Risk Management: Ensure all employee benefits offerings comply with federal, state, and industry regulations.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in employee benefits, insurance, or a related field, with at least 5 years in sales and leadership roles.Strong knowledge of employee benefits regulations and compliance.Proven ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive growth.Demonstrated success in sales, with a track record of acquiring new clients and expanding existing accounts.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Active CA Life and Health licenses and able to obtain licenses in other states as needed.
