Shop Technician

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking skilled Shop Service Technicians at Level I and Level III to perform preventative and routine repairs on a variety of machinery and equipment, including diesel engines. This role involves assembling new engine packages, pre-assembling fitted components in the production shop, and completing assigned equipment repairs. The ideal candidate is personable, reliable, ethical, intelligent, and a natural problem solver, with the ability to adapt and collaborate effectively with customers, suppliers, co-workers, and manufacturers. Strong diesel technology and engine experience are required.Key Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs on diesel engines and related equipment.Assemble new engine packages and pre-assemble fitted components in the production plete assigned equipment repairs efficiently and to a high standard.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.Work independently and with minimal supervision while maintaining a collaborative approach with team members.Requirements:Level I: At least 1-2 years of experience as a shop technician with a strong understanding of shop technician responsibilities.Level III: At least 5+ years of experience with a deeper expertise in diesel technology and engine systems.Experience in diesel technology and engine systems is required.Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge related to engines and equipment.Demonstrated ability to complete repairs with minimal supervision.Personable, ethical, and reliable, with a customer-focused mindset.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment.Why Join Us?Competitive hourly compensation:Level I: $24.66 - $31.20Level III: $33.80 - $42.36Work in a state-of-the-art shop environment with industry-leading equipment.Opportunities for skill development and career growth within a supportive team.
