If you are someone who does the right thing, even when no one is looking, then we want to talk to you!We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Technician with experience in the construction andor maintenance fieldPosition Summary:Perform skilled, complex work on the repair, maintenance, and installation of commercial HVAC systems, air conditioning, heating units, heat pumps, hermetic compressors, exhaust fans, economizers, unit and radiant heaters, while also providing basic repair & maintenance on mobile office trailers.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and final repairs on all HVAC units and related equipment.Respond to HVAC service calls directed by Branch ManagerOperations Manager.Diagnose, troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, maintain, and service a variety of HVAC equipment.Clean and remove dust, dirt, and debris from clogged HVAC systems.Work and assist other maintenance employees in responding to emergencies and resolve work related issues.Maintain accurate records for labor, materials, work order completion, project orders, manufacture's technical data sheets, material safety data sheets, and other maintenance municate effectively with team, vendors, and associates with professionalism to resolve issues that arise.Respond to service issues on Satellite fleet equipment as needed including, but not limited to; door repairs, plumbing issues, roof issues, vandalism repairs, security installation or removal, tile repairs, etc.Perform other duties as assignedRequired Skills and Qualifications:Ability to pass required background checksClean motor vehicle reportAverage computer knowledgeEPA Universal Refrigerant Handling LicenseAbility to travel up to 80% of the timeEducation and Experience Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of maintenanceconstruction experience required.HVAC Certification or degree from accredited training continuing education facility including, but not limited to: universities, colleges, technical colleges, vocational schools, etc.Strong interpersonal skills in working with both customers, vendors, and sub-contractors.Excellent problem solving and detail-oriented skills.Basic mechanical skills to work on vehiclesAverage ability to read and write to maintain recordsStrong organizational skillsDemonstrated knowledge and understanding of usage of tools associated with positionPhysicalMental Demands:Wears personnel protective equipment as requiredPhysical and mental ability to operate company vehicles and associated equipmentDemonstrated ability to perform rigorous outdoor and indoor duties including walking, standing, climbing, stooping, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, sitting, lifting, grasping, pushing, pulling, manual dexterity, etc.Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.Good fine motor skills, coordination, range of motion and grip strengthAbility to work in all climate conditions.Ability to be exposed to loud noise levels.Ability to operate hand and power toolsAbility to work in an environment containing dirt, grease, and dust.Ability to work safely around heavy machinery and heavy equipment.Ability to hold air impact tools up to 30lb.Travel Requirements:This position is required to travel 80% of the time.Safety Sensitive Position:This position is classified as a safety sensitive position and, as such, is subject to random drug screenings per the Policy Substance Abuse and Drug Free Workplace.
