Our client, a growing healthcare organization in the Mount Laurel, NJ area, is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to join their team. The Corporate Paralegal provides legal support to the company, its many offices, and its physicians. Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel, this position will include responsibilities ranging from very basic to highly complex. The position will also support Risk Management initiatives, reporting to the Vice President of Risk Management. The downstream impact of the Corporate Paralegal's contributions will help the company's legal team support our organization's valued members, colleagues, patients and business partners.This position is remote and requires travel to the South Jersey area approximately 1-2 times per quarter.Responsibilities Fulfilling requests for a wide array of contracts, insurance and legal correspondence.Drafting employment, real estate, vendor and various other types of anizing contracts, insurance policies and legal filings.Reviewing and analyzing various legal documents and service contracts.Taking initiative to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's legal and risk management services.Working with outside defense counsel to support legal filings for litigation, claims, related business correspondence, case preparation, anticipated litigation and formal requests.Contributing to the development of standard operating procedures related to purchasing and contracting with vendors.Helping to assess risk related to healthcare regulations and corporate munication with offices, clients and third parties.Providing administrative support to Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel, and to Vice President Risk Management, including preparing mailings, corresponding with external parties, drafting letters and other documents.Qualifications Minimum of six (6) years of paralegal experience in a corporate office environment or its equivalent.Prior work experience in the healthcare industry preferred.Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.Certificate in Paralegal Studies preferred.Strong analytical and written communication skills and the ability to transform concepts into clear and effective contract terms.Excellent time management, organization and planningproblem-solving skills.High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications - especially Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams.Collaborative approach and strong customer service orientation.Ability to maintain security of corporate proprietary information and confidential personnel data.Strong grasp of HIPAA, HITECH and other privacy laws.Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to project ownership, accuracy and completion on a timely basis.Strong problem solving, risk analysis and project management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Demonstrated effectiveness operating in complex organizational and regulatory environment.Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with multiple service locations and a broad set of diverse stakeholders, including physician leaders.Professionally skilled in personal presentation, verbal and written communication.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively listen and communicate to varied levels.Ability to travel to office locations as needed.Ability to travel to attend periodic company special meetings.Experience with contract database program (MediTract) a plus.Juno is an Equal Opportunity Employer that provides equal opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability, genetic predisposition or carrier status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
