Business Development Representative - Equity CompensationCompIntelligence | Remote (United States)CompIntelligence is growing and seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to help drive opportunities in our Equity Compensation division. This role is essential in generating leads, building relationships, and supporting the sales team in identifying and nurturing new business opportunities.The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong prospecting skills, a passion for connecting with people, and an interest in equity compensation solutions. You'll work closely with sales, marketing, and practice leads to develop a pipeline of qualified prospects.ResponsibilitiesLead Generation: Proactively identify and qualify leads through research, outreach (cold calls, emails, and social media), and networking.Prospecting: Use a hunter mindset to generate interest and schedule discovery meetings with decision-makers in HR, finance, legal, and equity administration.Collaboration: Partner with sales and practice leads to execute account strategies and ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads.Relationship Building: Build rapport with potential clients by understanding their challenges and introducing equity compensation solutions tailored to their needs.Pipeline Development: Maintain and grow a robust pipeline of prospects to support the sales team in meeting targets.CRM Management: Track all activities in CRM system (Hubspot), ensuring accurate records of interactions, opportunities, and follow-ups.Market Awareness: Stay informed on industry trends, equity compensation products, and competitors to better position CompIntelligence's services.QualificationsExperience: 1-3 years of experience in business development, lead generation, or sales, ideally in HR, financial services, or equity compensation solutions.Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage prospects and clearly articulate value propositions.Goal-Oriented: A results-driven mindset with a proven ability to meet or exceed goals and metrics.Team Player: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work closely with sales, marketing, and practice teams.Self-Starter: Highly motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively in a remote environment.Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM tools (experience with Hubspot is a plus) and LinkedIn Sales terest in Equity Compensation: Basic knowledge of or interest in equity compensation plans (stock options, RSUs, ESPPs) is a plus.Travel: Minimal travel required (less than 10%).This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to kick-start or grow their career in business development while contributing to the success of a leader in equity compensation administration.
