Sr. Wire Harnessing Engineer8 -12 Month C2C The engineer will team works at the front end of the design and development cycle by studying, simulating, building, and validating future vehicle concepts. Engineers collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop EE, wire harnessing design, mules, prototypes, and demonstrators for downstream engineering efforts.This role focuses on the design, modification, and bring-up of vehicle harnesses and is integral to our product delivery.ResponsibilitiesProficient and consistent usage of CATIA V6 across design and optimization of harness routing and packaging for electromechanical systems.Troubleshoot and quality check harnesses during fabrication, assembly, and bring-up stages.Develop wire harnesses for prototype vehicles and early-phase programs.Identify, evaluate, select, and procure harness components for prototypes.Create manufacturing and electrical drawings for complex wire harnesses.Manage harness installation during prototype novate and improve harness development through the build process.Design ancillary parts for harness and low voltage system integration.RequirementsBS in EEMechanical Engineer and relevant Mechanical Engineering experience.Minimum of 2 years of EE related design, including experience with schematics, PCB, bracket design etc.Preferred around 2 years wire harness design experience.Proficient experience with CATIA V6 and further proficiency in CAD.Expertise over voltage systems, including powertrain systems, EMC strategies, and vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).Familiarity with prototype builds and product release.
