Support new production launches, develop and maintain documented processes. This role is focused on engineering in the Safety Systems area with the Steering Wheels Department.BS in Engineering or 2 years of related experienceManufacturing ExperiencePLC Experience PreferredOvertime when neededDevelop and or maintain documented processes for new or existing production parts and assembly line process equipment.Support pre-production trial activities by tracking and reporting data acquired from the trials and develop countermeasures for problem areas uncovered during the trials.Take countermeasure for production equipment, tools and process concerning scrap, labor or customer issue improvements.Manage equipment installations (mechanically and electronically); work with contractors to establish a scheduleSupport new production launches for sample submissionsSupport the production floor by helping address daily problemsManage project schedules as assignedPerform other duties as assignedSkilled in AutoCAD or other drafting softwareKnowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteFollow and implement TS 16949 Quality StandardsAssociate RequirementsBachelorsBackground CheckDrug TestMust be at least 18 years oldThe hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $36.06 - $36.06 per hour.
