Field Project Manager

Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Field Project Manager to manage multiple projects at two (2) Digital Realty Data Centers in the Manassas, VA area. This role will oversee the delivery and commissioning of a 60-95L gens project, ongoing through Q2 2026, and subsequently manage future projects at DLR Brickyard or transition to Amazon or NTT accounts from 2026-2027.The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, thrive in fast-paced environments, and exhibit strong organizational abilities.Key Responsibilities:Project Leadership:Lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and performance goals.Facilitate project planning sessions with stakeholders and define project milestones and objectives.Schedule and Coordination:Develop, manage, and monitor project schedules, ensuring timely commissioning and delivery.Coordinate on-site meetings, resource scheduling, and documentation for commissioning (Cx).Issue and Risk Management:Identify, track, and resolve project issues promptly.Manage project risks using quality tools and implement alternative solutions when needed.Budget and Reporting:Plan and monitor project budgets.Conduct research, provide insights, and communicate project status to stakeholders and sponsors.Safety and Compliance:Act as the on-site safety lead, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.Team Development:Assign resources, guide team members, and provide developmental feedback to ensure project success.Document and share team learnings to enhance project outcomes.Required Skills and Competencies:Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage stakeholders and manage expectations.Fast-Paced Environment Adaptability:Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight anizational Skills:Strong project management, scheduling, and documentation skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience managing commissioning projects in data centers or similar environments.Familiarity with Digital Realty, Amazon, or NTT account requirements.Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.Additional Details:The role requires managing a total of one (1) ongoing project through Q2 2026 and transitioning to future projects.Responsibilities include managing schedules, conducting on-site meetings, resolving issues, and overseeing commissioning and terviews: Initial interviews will be conducted via Zoom (1 hour duration).
