Sales Manager (Food Retail)

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing leader in the food industry who is hiring a Sales Manager to join their team. This position requires previous Food Sales experience and offers excellent benefits.Responsibilities:Sales Manager will build, grow, and maintain customer relationshipsManager will identify and grow business opportunities, negotiate and close business dealsManager will maintain a strong knowledge of current market conditions and trendsManager will maintain and grow strong relationships with grocery chains, wholesalers, and distributorsManager will prepare proposals for campaigns and promotional activitiesManager will coordinate with Buying, Supply Chain, and Finance functions on a regular basisRequirements:Candidates must have 5 plus years of Sales or Business Development background managing food retail accountsCandidates must be proficient in strategic sales planning, business expansion, and account managementCandidates must be comfortable traveling to food shows and customers across the US during the weekCandidates with a relevant Bachelors degree preferredCandidates must be computer savvy with Sales software and MS Office SuiteCandidates must be comfortable working in the Office when there is no travel
