DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing accounting functions, month end close, ensuring the accuracy of financial reports, and managing day-to-day accounting operations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team. This role reports directly to the Controller. Key Responsibilities: Guides the Biobridges accounting team through a timely month end close and financial reportingDelegate financial responsibilities to AR and APResponsible for month end close transactions, journal entry preparation, journal entry review and approval when needed, month end checklist, and accurate financial statementsAssist with the preparation and coordination of the interim and year-end audit requests from the external auditorsEnsure compliance with US GAAP accounting policies and proper recognition of revenueIdentify process gaps and enhancements to ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial reporting. Assist in process improvements and improve areas of efficiency across the teamMaintain and contribute to the improvement of an internal control environmentReconcile balance sheet accounts in accordance with GAAP and company policyIdentify and reconcile any variances in the balance sheet accountsPrepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting for senior management, and work closely with the FP&A team Provide support to departments requesting accounting guidance or budget informationWork closely with management team, set standards and drive compliance across the entire organizationAssist the Controller with domestic and international compliance for the consolidated entityRequirementsExperience: 2-4 years of Accounting experienceEducation: An associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, Netsuite or Oracle is highly preferred.Experience with QuickBooks is preferred.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and dustry Knowledge: Previous experience in the staffing industry is a plus.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Work EnvironmentThis position operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring both remote and in-office attendance. Specific in-office days will be coordinated with the Controller.
