Satellite Shelters, Inc. a leader in the mobile modular industry, is seeking a Contract Manager to join our team. The role will drive contract management excellence. You will have the skills to conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and work directly with colleagues and customers on a variety of contracts. You will provide for proper contract fulfillment in accordance with company policies and objectives, legal requirements, and customer expectations. Your expertise will be instrumental in continuing to shape the contracts landscape, fostering collaboration, and optimizing contractual processes to protect the company's interests and enhance overall efficiency.The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the construction industry and has had experience in drafting and negotiating contracts.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Approving and implementing new and revised contract policy and processesManaging contracts and services in accordance with company policiesDrafting, evaluating, negotiating and executing the terms and conditions in various contracts covering sales, lease and large rental projectsAssisting in the preparation of various contractsReviewing RFPs, RFQs, Bids, etc. and preparing submittals for eachMaintaining contractual documentsProblem-solving contract-related issuesAdministrate company's bonding program; order bid, paymentperformance as required and other special bonds as may be necessaryCheck to make sure customers are credit worthyReview changes to company standard formsWorks with outside legal counsel as neededMaintain excellent working relationships with customersAssist as necessary with insurance renewals and special insurance certificatesProvides guidance and leadership to cross-functional business team membersMay occasionally lead complex negotiationsUnderstands the business and has an appreciation of financialanalytical issues and profit and loss implicationsIdentify opportunities to improve business processes and implement these changes.Education and Experience Desired:Bachelor's DegreeParalegal Certification5+ years of business experience,Construction industry experience preferredAdvanced contract and technical knowledge (preferably 5+ years)Experience with building leases preferredExcellent presentation, teambuilding, and leadership skillsA global perspective of the business environment and technologyRequired SkillsCompetenciesQualifications:Ability to work productively and independentlyDemonstrated conduct that is in alignment with our Core ValuesSelf-drivenCustomerclient focusedPersonal effectivenesscredibilityStrong written, organizational, interpersonal, and verbal communication skillsExcellent problem-solving, time management, and leadership skillsHighly developed attention to detail with an ability to spot errors and potential risksProficiency in MS Office SuiteProject ManagementDemonstrated ability to work with a teamAbility to deal effectively with confidential informationAbility to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external partnersAbility to prioritize workload and meet deadlinesAbility to work well under pressure and to balance competing demands
