Immediate need for a talented Systems administrator. This is a 09+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in McLean, VA (Hybrid). Key Responsibilities: Work towards onboarding data into Client utilizing multiple ingestion methods (UF, API, HTTPs, etc.)Work on advanced Client administration, and development efforts, with a goal towards enhancingbuilding out the Client infrastructure as it relates to applicationmachine logs, troubleshooting, reporting, custom queries, dashboards, and security roles administration.Support, maintain, and expand Client infrastructure in a highly resilient configurationStandardized Client agent deployment, configuration and maintenance across a variety of platformsTroubleshoot Client server and agent problems and issuesSupport Client developers and users in designing and maintaining production-quality dashboardsAvailable for escalations and support operations for ClientMonitor the agent and server infrastructure for capacity planning and optimizationSupport Client on Unix, Linux and Windows-based platformsAutomate processes and procedures where applicableResearch, design, evaluate, recommend and support major hardware and software enhancementsDesign, code and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasksPerforms other duties as required or assignedKey Requirements and Technology Experience: Key skills; Splunk, UnixLinux, Data IngestionData Onboarding Bachelor Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum of 5 years of experience with Client developmentadministration, installation, configuration, clustering, monitoring, query design, dashboard designMinimum of 3 years of experience with UNIXLinux administrationengineeringExperience with scripting (Perl, shell, etc)Experience with integrationweb technologies (use SDKs, REST, JSON, XML, etc)Experience developingdelivering presentations to management and stakeholdersExperience in Client, Compuware dynaTrace, UEM, APMaas (Gomez), Foglight and ELK , C#, XML, HTML, JAVA Script, CSS, SQL and Python scriptingExperience with Client Enterprise on AWSExperience with Client CloudWorking knowledge of Data Science, Statistical & Predictive Analysis, Quantitative Research and AnalyticsOur client is a leading Financial Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
