Process EngineerElizabethtown, KYWe're hiring a Process Engineer for our long-standing client, a global automotive glass manufacturer, at their Elizabethtown facility. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to drive innovation, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and have a direct impact on manufacturing processes. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing operations to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, while leading teams toward operational excellence and ensuring all performance requirements are met.Primary Responsibilities:Evaluate, implement and monitor processes and operating systems for the manufacture of glass products.Assist, advise, troubleshoot and expedite resolutions of corrective actions to facilitate cost reduction and control, work simplifications, safety, associate relations, budgetary conformance or other department needs.Create, edit and maintain documentation to maintain certifications.Monitor and improve efficiency, output, safety and quality of manufacturing processes.Assist in strategic planning, training and development of all associates.Lead technical and operating personnel in a team environment to improve processes.Primary Requirements:BS Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Industrial Engineering4+ years process engineering experience in a manufacturing andor automotive environmentUtilize problem solving tools such as Six Sigma, Fishbone, KT, 8D, etc.Experience leading continuous improvement activitiesStrong analytical and project management skillsKnowledge of PFMEA, PPAP, MSA, SPC and APQP processesKnowledge of quality systems, such as TS and IATF 16949This role offers a competitive total rewards package that includes base salary and bonus, comprehensive benefits, paid time off and the opportunity to work for a leading global manufacturing organization.
